We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you. By using the Platform, you acknowledge the practices described here, subject to applicable law.
If you interact with us only through a WhatsApp bot or partner integration, the organisation operating that channel may also process data under its own notice; this policy covers UCLAP’s processing as operator of the UCLAP Platform.
2.Information we collect
Depending on how you use UCLAP, we may collect:
- Account & profile: name, email address, mobile number, password or authentication tokens, preferences, and profile photo where you choose to add one.
- Bookings & service delivery: addresses, geolocation when you permit it, slot selections, service notes, photos or documents you upload (e.g. job proofs), chat or support messages, and call/SMS metadata where enabled.
- Payments: payment method type, transaction references, and limited billing details as required by payment partners (card networks, wallets, or UPI providers). We do not store full card numbers on our servers where tokenisation is used.
- Device & diagnostics: device type, OS, app version, IP address, cookies or local storage, and crash logs to keep the Platform secure and reliable.
- Marketing & CRM: where you opt in, campaign engagement, referral codes, and similar fields needed to run promotions or partner programmes.
3.How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and prevent fraud;
- Facilitate bookings, dispatch professionals, send service updates, and improve routing and quality;
- Process payments, refunds, invoices, and customer support tickets;
- Send transactional messages (OTP, booking confirmations) and, where permitted, marketing communications;
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms;
- Analyse usage in aggregate or de-identified form to improve products and develop new features.
5.Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting records), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion.
6.Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; please use strong passwords and protect your devices.
7.Your choices & rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete certain information, withdraw marketing consent, or object to certain processing.

Our primary operations and data storage are in India. If we use subprocessors in other regions, we implement appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable Indian law and contractual commitments.
